This policy explains what personal information Savvymints.com collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and the forms on it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The Site is operated by Savvymints, (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact details are in Section 12.

2. Information you give us

Email address — when you submit it to view offers.
Phone number — when you submit it at the second step of the form.

You choose whether to provide these. If you do not, you may not be able to access the offer content behind the form.

3. Information we collect automatically

When you visit the Site we collect:

IP address, which we record with your submission and which indicates your approximate location;
Device and software details — device type, operating system and browser;
Network details — your mobile carrier or internet service provider;
Approximate location — city and state or region, derived from the above;
Campaign and referral identifiers carried in the web address you arrived on — such as click, campaign, offer and tracking IDs — which let us and our advertising partners tell which advert or partner sent you to us.

Some of these values are supplied to us by the advertising partner that referred you, rather than measured by us directly.

4. How we use your information

To show you the credit card and financial offers you asked to see;
To contact you by email, and by phone if you gave us a number, about those offers;
To place an automated verification call to confirm your number and connect you with the relevant offer;
To pass your enquiry to the advertising partner responsible for the offer;
To measure and pay for advertising — confirming to a partner that a referral resulted in a valid enquiry;
To detect and prevent duplicate, fraudulent or automated submissions;
To operate, secure, debug and improve the Site;
To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

5. Automated calls and messages

If you provide a phone number, you consent to receive calls and/or texts at that number about the offers you enquired about, including calls made with automated dialling technology or a pre-recorded or artificial voice. This consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent at any time — see Section 9.

6. When we share your information

We share personal information with:

Advertising and offer partners — the companies whose products you enquired about, and the network that referred you. They use your information to contact you and to process your enquiry, and they handle it under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to read those policies.
Service providers who work on our behalf — hosting, content delivery, telephony, email delivery, analytics and fraud prevention — who may only use the data to provide those services to us.
Legal and safety recipients — where we must comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property or safety of any person.
A successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your information for money. Sharing your details with advertising partners so they can market to you may, however, count as a “sale” or “sharing” under some US state privacy laws — see Section 10.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

This Site keeps cookie use to a minimum. We and our providers may use cookies or similar technologies to keep the Site working, to cache pages at the network edge so they load quickly, and to measure advertising performance. Tracking identifiers used for advertising attribution are mainly carried in the web address rather than in cookies.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking them may affect how parts of the Site work.

8. How long we keep it, and how we protect it

9. Your choices

Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
Calls and texts: tell the caller to stop, reply STOP to a text, or contact us using Section 12.
Access, correction and deletion: contact us and we will respond as the law requires.
Partners: once your enquiry has been passed to a partner, you will also need to contact that partner directly to opt out of their communications.

10. Region-specific rights

United States

Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and disclose, to request access or deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising. To exercise these rights contact us using Section 12. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. You may use an authorised agent where the law allows.

UK and European Economic Area

If these laws apply to you, our lawful bases are: consent (for marketing calls, texts and emails), legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site, preventing fraud, measuring advertising) and legal obligation. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to complain to your data protection authority.
